Minibus to Royal Regatta Coach Hire for Royal Regatta
Henley Royal Regatta is a rowing event that is held every year on the River Thames by Henley-on-Thames, England. The event was established on 26 Mar 1839. The regatta takes place from Wednesday to Sunday (five days), and it ends in July, on the first weekend. National minibus hire provides minibus and coach hire transport services for this amazing July event so book early to avoid missing out.
Races at this event are all head-to-head knock out contests, raced over a course of 2,112 metres, 1 mile. Each race consists of two crews who race side by side as they go up the Henley course. Two lines of booms mark the course out. These are wooden bars floating on the water and secured between vertical poles. They are placed along the river forming a straight course, which is wide enough to enable two crews to comfortably race down with several metres between them. The race starts at Temple Island downstream end: here, the crews attach to a set of two pontoons.

The regatta normally attracts worldwide crews to race and the most prestigious event being the Grand Challenge Cup, the rowing competition for men's eight. The Grand Challenge Cup has been awarded since the event was first staged.
Since it pre-dates any international or national rowing organisation, the regatta has its own organisation and rules, although it's recognised by both FISA (International Federation of Rowing Associations) and British Rowing (rowing governing body in Wales and England). A Self-electing Stewards body, who are mostly former rowers themselves, organises the regatta. It's considered as part of the social season in England.
You can view the racing from several locations along both the Thames banks. Areas open to the public are usually on the towpath (Berkshire) side of the river. Opportunities for viewing at Buckinghamshire side are always limited to areas for corporate entertainment, private residences and the Phyllis Court club. A course of the river is always open throughout the regatta; therefore, racing can be viewed from boats as well. The Regatta Enclosure is open to everyone after paying the admission fee.
